The course covers all information required to become an Occupational Health & Safety Officer within a workplace. It covers the required knowledge and understanding in areas of; OHS legislation, OHS Risk Management, OHS Management Systems, OHS Consultation Mechanisms within workplaces, Workplace Emergency and Incident Reporting requirements along with Accident Investigations.

Some students may have more time to commit to the online course therefore being able to complete the course in a quicker timeframe (6 months). BSBOHS406B – Use Equipment to Conduct Workplace Monitoring
BSBOHS408A – Assist the compliance with OHS and other relevant laws
BSBRSK401A – Identify risk and apply risk management processes
BSBWRT301A- Write Simple Documents
ASSESSMENTS
Assessment will be undertaken by online written questions and answers along with Assignments for each subject studied.
QUALIFICATION
BSB41407 – Certificate IV in Occupational Health & Safety.
This qualification will also create a pathway for higher level studies such as Diploma in OHS and Advanced Diploma in OHS.
