This course is designed for employees working within an office environment. The course will highlight safe working practices for correct workstation design and layout, adjusting furniture and computer workstations to individual anthropometric needs. In addition, it will provide methods for safe manual handling to reduce the risk of accidents and injuries.



The learning aims for each module of the course are:

• Overview of Occupational Health and Safety legislation in NSW with specific reference to Risk Management within Office Environments.
• Inform employees and managers of Office Ergonomics and Anthropometry to suit individuals within a workstation environment
• Provide practical examples of workstation layout and safe manual handling requirements for office areas
