Persons who are members of and OHS Committee or OHS Representatives. It is a legal requirement under Ch 3 OHS Regulations 2001 that any member of and OHS Committee or OHS Representative attend the OHS Consultation Course.
The aims of the Consultation training course are to provide participants with:
-Knowledge of requirements for consultation
-Skills to effectively communicate in the role of OHS Committee members or OHS Representatives
-Knowledge of mechanisms and processes for systematically managing health and safety
-Skills to contribute to systematic management of health and safety
-Skills to undertake Risk Management Activities
-Knowledge of the need for ways to ensure continuous improvement in OHS
